Tubewell Section
Giving due importance to exploitation of Ground
Water, Govt. created a separate Tubewell Section within the Minor Irrigation Department in
the year 1986-87. This Section is headed by Project Co-Ordinator an officer of the rank of

The Monitoring Cell is engaged in
maintaining quality of works being executed by the Department. It has a Flying Squad. The
Cell is being managed by one Superintending Engineer assisted by Two Executive Engineers
and four Assistant Engineers. The Cell has also a Flying Squad for ensuring and
maintaining quality of works.
The Computer Cell was established in 1995-96 with a
view to expedite decision making and its implementation. This cell is being managed by two
Assistant Engineers and four Data Entry Operators. |
